Hey everyone,

Today Mac and Tom are on their way to Atlanta to catch up with the Madison Scouts for their show at the Georgia Dome on Saturday.  This is one of larger regional shows of the year and we could not be more excited to be there filming all of the action.  While in Atlanta, we are planning on getting a number of crucial interviews with staff, members, and supporters of the corps, as well as some great footage of the Scouts in rehearsal and at the show.

The summer tour is quickly approaching its end, and as anyone who has marched will tell you, the last couple of weeks just fly by in a blink of an eye.  We are right on the verge of the most critical shoot for the project: the week leading up to DCI Finals in Indianapolis.  Over the last week we have been pushing quite hard to garner up the support that will be need to make the final trip happen.  The response, as always, has been very positive.  We just wanted all of our boosters to know that even if our specific fundraising goals are not accomplished in the next few days that we will still be charging ahead with our crew to capture the end of the season as the Scouts travel through New York, Pennsylvania, and onto finals in Indiana.

We are constantly in the process of updating our production budget and one of the things that we have been most proud of during the filming of “Scouts Honor” has been our ability to find ways to save money and stretch every dollar.  A large part of that goes to our supporters, who have provided us with places to crash, meals to eat, and other services that would otherwise dig into the budget.  We are confident that with your continued support that we will meet all our goals for this project: financial and, most importantly, artistically.  Please help us push through these last few weeks of the 2012 tour by spreading the word through social media and, if possible, considering a financial contribution.  Any contribution will help enormously during our push to the end of the season!
